Dennis Stock

Dennis Stock, an amazing photographer represented by the Magnum Photo agency, died early last week. This guy has shot so many different iconic images through the years that were amazing representations of each era he lived through. Whether you know the name Dennis Stock or not, odds are you probably remember some of his images. Among many others, Stock has photographed jazz icons in the 50's, hippies in the 60's, James Dean at the prime of his career, motorcycle gangs, and even a bizarre series of photos on the set of the movie Planet of the Apes. Stocks name will definitely live on in what is an amazing and impressive collection of photos. Here's a small sample of his work I was able to put together, enjoy!

The James Dean images are so classic, esp the one walking in the rain. Thanks for sharing
